David Donaldson is a retired middle school band director and a lifelong woodworker. He received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Michigan School of Music.
David is pleased to welcome his son, Loy Donaldson as a part of Donaldson Batons as of June 2015. Handcrafted items perfect for your home, office or outdoor area. Each piece I craft is truly one-of-a-kind. I started Three Try Woodworks and Fabrications as a way to challenge myself. It came to be out of boredom and staying up too late in my garage playing around seeing exactly what I could make. Over countless times of messing up and retrying, I started to see the art come to life and have challenged myself everyday since. My woodwork was just a gift for family and friends, turning into a few auctions for charity, and now a small business. My craft goes past woodwork and includes many different materials, tools, and inspiration from others; LED lights, metal work, epoxy, a CNC machine, and much more.
