Soteria at Work is the social enterprise of Soteria CDC where we use woodworking to teach job skills to men who were recently released from prison and who enrolled into the Soteria CDC 6-12 month Residential Reentry Program. They learn how to deconstruct old buildings, reclaim the wood, and then build beautiful pieces of furniture – from farm tables to sliding barn doors. The work is symbolic of the change they are making in their lives as they become thriving citizens.

Based out of Lake Wylie SC, just south of Charlotte NC, we call home to our craft of woodworking. With a 20-year background in carpentry we began focusing on fine woodworking.
