Valley Woodworkers of West Virginia is a non-profit 501(C)(3) charitable organization. The purpose of the Valley Woodworkers is to serve as a means for individuals interested in the many areas of woodworking, as a hobby or as a profession, to meet fellow woodworkers and to share experiences, information and ideas. Here at Green Creek Woodshop we pride ourselves in full circle woodworking. All the trees are responsibly harvested or salvaged in wild and wonderful West Virginia. The logs are then taken to our mill and cut into lumber or slabs using our Woodmizer bandmill or homemade slabmill. We kiln dry all the furniture grade lumber and live edge slabs in our Nyle dehumidifying kiln. Once kiln dried to a moisture content of 8-10%, it's taken to our woodshop and stored until it's made into custom furniture, or sold to other creative woodworkers around the tri-state. We're a small family owned business located 20 mins off the Elkview exit. We sell furniture grade lumber and live edge slabs. We custom build tables, countertops, epoxy river tables.
