We are a family owned and operated business located in Greenfield, IN just 20 miles east of Indianapolis. We started out working from the house garage in 1990,and expanded into our workshop in 2004. Now creative and functional wooden kitchenware is our primary pursuit and joy. We source our wood locally, sometimes milling the wood ourselves from recovered storm damaged trees. We love our local woods and we want to bring the colors and the warmth, depth and feel of our native woods to your kitchen for you to enjoy as much as we do!

DED Wood Live is a custom woodcraft shop. Basically, I bring dead wood back to life again! Much of my work is crafted from Bourbon Barrels. Where I craft cabinets, shelves, and stools. Custom live edge slab bars and shelving. Although these are the main items, I can craft anything. Picture frames, toy chests, blanket/quilt ladders, shadow boxes and shelves just to name a few. You request it, I can most likely craft it. Soon I will be adding laser engraving.

We work with raw, heavy timbers and traditional joinery to create homes, lodges, barns, porches, pavilions and more. Our work is rugged, reliable, and built with pride. We specialize in traditional mortise and tenon joinery.
