Corcoran carpentry is a small one man custom shop. If you want it built to last, you want a custom shop to manufacture for you. I use top grade plywood rather than mdf, costs more but if it gets wet it’s more forgiving and doesn’t swell up and destroy other parts of the cabinet or furniture piece. I use solid hardwoods whenever possible, even on the edges rather than going the cheap route with premade 1/16” edge banding, I often cap with 1/4”-1/2”.
