Janet Layfield got into the window covering business in 1978 when she learned how to fabricate custom draperies. She quickly expanded into selling blinds and shades, and installed everything she sold for 25 years. In 1996 she added Flooring to her offerings, so Janet’s extensive knowledge has been gained from 44 years of hands-on experience. Janet has been awarded numerous Outstanding Dealer Awards, and in 2001 was selected to participate in a national “meeting of the minds” when there was a big merger in the Window Fashion Industry. The Picture Window is now owned by Holly Mainhart and Wesley Frank who still employ some of Janet’s exceptional staff and several others.
