The Urban Craftsman

The Urban Craftsman reclaims local tree species from the urban forest here in Milwaukee. Our selection includes natural edge slabs, natural edge lumber, and dimensional lumber as well as many other unique furniture grade hardwoods such as Alder, Ash, Birch, Cherry, Elm, Maple, Locust, Red Oak, White Oak and Walnut.

Our urban lumber and slabs have natural character and will add beauty to any space. All products are milled and kiln dried to produce high quality hardwoods suitable for commercial and residential design projects.

We also offer milling services including planing, straight edge ripping, large slab/table top router flattening and drum sanding. We also custom mill and kiln dry lumber for customers.
