Dave Hergenrader has been perfecting his woodworking craft for more than 30 years. His passion is to bring out the beauty in wood and to create stellar conversation pieces that will stand the test of time. He’s the real deal in custom wood work in Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska.

Dave loves what he does. He has made a living by creating and designing furnishings from wood including kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and entertainment centers.

Classic Wood is true, top-of-the-line custom woodworking. All products are handmade from a variety of selected woods and only the finest and hand-crafted furnishings will be delivered to you. There is nothing generic or ordinary about Dave’s work.

Bill Dykema has turned wood on a lathe for the last seven years. One person would turn the wood work piece with a rope while the other used a sharp tool to cut shapes in the wood. During the several year of practice he has worked with elm, red elm, walnut, oak, catalpa, maple, pine, boxelder, and fruitwoods. His wood sources are lumberjacks, tree trimmers, and what he finds. All of his wood products have food-grade lacquer put on them so that they are not just pretty but also useful. The fully-cured oils would also be considered food safe. Bill’s niche is leaving the natural edge on a wood product.
